Dr. Parveen has served in her role as The Valley’s Medical Director since our opening. She is a psychiatrist that brings over 35 years of experience in the field to The Valley, imparting her extensive knowledge in the treatment of addictions and co-occurring conditions. Dr. Parveen graduated from prestigious Dhaka medical school in 1983 and completed her residency at the well-renowned Howard University Hospital in nearby Washington, D.C. She leads the medical team at The Valley with her vast breadth of knowledge. Dr. Parveen executes the most thorough and effective conventional and holistic treatment methods to bring individualized whole health and wellness to her clients.
Jessica Eisenberg, LCSW-C, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Women and Gender Studies from Florida International University and a Master of Social Work from Barry University. She is a licensed clinical social worker in the District of Columbia, Virginia, Maryland, and Florida, and is certified as a supervisor for Social Workers. Her experience encompasses working with adults aged 18 and above facing dual diagnosis, mental health, and substance use disorders in residential and outpatient settings, delivering individual and group therapy. Beyond addressing dual diagnosis substance abuse, she has supported individuals in managing challenges related to their family of origin, acquiring skills to cope with anxiety, depression, bipolar, and personality disorders. Her primary objective as a clinical social worker is to empower clients to cultivate confidence and security in themselves and their recovery.
Florence Odubayo, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Florence has provided compassionate care for oncology patients and primary care patients in both Washington DC and Maryland. Florence also has extensive experience with addiction medicine, family medicine, and women’s health services. Florence’s passion for healthcare extends to the classroom as a clinical instructor for aspiring nurses and nurse practitioners. Florence believes that every patient/client is especially important and should be treated individually as such. She is committed to providing 100% patient satisfaction to each patient.
